서울에 볼 일이 있어서
올라가는 김에 호캉스를 누리기로 했다.
I had to go to Seoul,
so I decided to stay at hotels.
여기저기 고민을 해봤지만
결국 가격대비 만족도가 높았던
쉐라톤 디큐브시티로 정했다.
I compared various hotels,
and ended up with Sheraton D Cube City
because of its good prices and satisfaction from last stay.
10시 30분쯤에 도착해서
짐만 맡기고 떠나려고 했는데,
41층 레지스터 데스크에서
지금 바로 체크인 가능한 객실을 알아봐주셨다.
I was going to leave my baggage and go out,
but the register desk help me check in early.
그렇게 10시 30분에
객실에 입장할 수 있었다.
완전 운이 좋았다고 할 수 있고,
이런 행운을 가져다준

메리어트, 힐튼, 아코르 계열 브랜드를 예약할 때는
이제 앱으로 직접 예약 및 결제하고 있다.
Now I am directly booking with their own apps
when I stay in Marriott, Hilton, and Accor hotels.
저 가격은
토요일 체크인에 조식 포함 가격이라서
상당히 착하다고 생각하면서
결제했다.
The above price included breakfast buffet,
and considering that that day was Saturday,
the most expensive day of the week,
I believed that this was a great deal for me.

코너룸으로 업그레이도 해주셨다.
The receptionist upgraded
the deluxe room to the deluxe corner room.
앗, 너무 잘해주시면
감동해버린다며 ㅋㅋ
코너룸의 장점은 침실 공간이
완벽히 분리가 된다는 점이다.
Corner room has a layout
which completely separates bed room and bathroom.
구조만 빼면 나머지는
지난번 클럽 객실이랑 다른게 별로 없어서
사진 촬영은 많이 생략했다.
I did not take photos of all the details
because it is almost the same
except the layout.
지난 번에는 신도림역 반대편이 보이는 뷰의 객실이었는데
이번에는 신도림역이 보이는 방향의
객실을 배정받았다.
This time, I got a room
facing the Shindorim Station.
저녁에 해질 때나 되니까
먼지인지 안개인지가 개었고,
그전에는 이렇게 뿌였다.
The fine dust or fog was not cleared
until the sunset.
개인적인 취향으로
고가도로를 내려다보고 찍는
야경을 좋아한다.
Personally,
I love the night view
looking down at overpass.
고가도로는
보행자 시각에서 흉물인데,
고층건물에서 내려다보면
입시미술 구성하는 것처럼 멋있다.
Overpass sometimes looks ugly
at the pedestrian's level,
but when looking down from a skyscraper,
it is beautiful like a curvy artwork.

디큐브 디럭스 코너룸의 장점은
욕실이 좀 넓어지면서
욕조가 창문 바로 옆에 있다는 점!
A good point of delexe corner room here is
that there is a bathtub next to the window in a wider bathroom.
클럽룸을 예약하지 않았다.
레스토랑도 예약하지 않았다.
지하2층의 현대백화점 식품관에서
타임세일하는 음식들로 저녁을 때울 생각이었다.
I did not reserve neither club room nor any restaurants.
I was going to have a simple dinner
with food discounted before closing the department store Hyundai.
예상치 못하게
방어회와 닭강정이 있어서
예상보다 돈을 더 쓰기는 했지만
정말 호강스러운 메뉴구성이 되었다.
Unexpectedly,
I ended up buying yellow tail sashimi and fried chicken,
which was over my budget.
However, it transformed my dinner into more sophisticated one

집에서 챙겨온 무똥 까데 화이트.
I brought a half-bottled white wine Mouton Cadet.
이번 투숙 때에는
메리어트 앱의 채팅 서비스를 이용해 봤다.
I used the chat service in the Marriott app.
생각보다 빨리빨리 답변을 해주셨고
상당히 편리하게 이용했다.
The hotel was very responsive,
which was really convenient.
<총평>
지난 번에도 서비스에 대한 좋은 인상이 있었는데
쉐라톤보다 더 비싼 호텔에서도 받지 못하는
서비스를 받는 것 같아서
정말 가심비가 좋은 투숙이었다.
I had a good impression of the service here.
During this stay,
I found out anew
that this hotel serves better
than some high-end and more expensive hotels do.
특히 정말 서비스 내공이 뛰어난
직원분만이 보여주는
표정으로 환영하는 눈웃음+미소 발사에
마음이 사르르 녹았다고나 할까?
Only staff with long experience and good skills
can smile with eyes and express welcome with face
regardless of speaking out kinds words.
That was very warming to me.
