[인천공항 1터미널 숙박]

다락휴 Darakhyu 

at Terminal 1, Incheon International Airport

인천공항 1터미널 교통센터에

위치한 다락휴.

Darakhyu 

at Transport Center of Terminal 1, 

Incheon International Airport.

교통센터에서 다락휴로 올라오면

바로 보이는 곳은 이 부분이지만

이 문으로 들어가서

 체크인을 하지는 않는다.

이 문은 투숙객 출입구.

If you look up on the first floor to the Darakhyu,

You can easily find this door and sign.

However, this door is not for check-in,

but for the guests who have checked in already.

여기 안으로 들어가면

체크인 데스크에 직원이 상주하고 있다.

If you enter this fenced wall,

you can see the staff at the register desk.

키와 생수를 받으면

이 리셉션/비즈니스 센터를 다시 나온다.

다락휴 블록 출입문 중 하나로 가서

받은 카드키로 입장한다.

After receiving card key and a bottle of water,

you exit from the reception.

Then, you have to go to one of the doors of the Darakhyu walled block,

and enter the block.

1인실에 샤워실이 있는 객실을 

예약했다.

부가세포함 63,000원.

I booked a single bed room with shower.

KRW 63,000 (inclusive of tax)

리셉션에서 가장 가까운 문을 열면 보이는

캡슐호텔 복도.

You can see this hallway

after you enter the door closest to the reception.

102호를 배정받았다.

I was assigned room no. 102.

인천 1터미널 다락휴는

생각보다 객실 개수가 많지 않아보인다.

층이 더 있나??

It appears 

that Darakhyu Terminal 1 

does not have as many rooms 

as Darakhyu Terminal 2.

지난 번 2터미널 다락휴 객실은

2인실이어서 

침대가 그래도 잘 만하다는 

생각이 들었는데,

이번에는 정말 좁긴 좁다라는

생각이 들었다.

Last time, my room at Darakhyu Terminal 2

was for two persons.

So I thought that the bed was big enough for me.

But this time, I thought that this was too cramped.

샤워실.

Shower booth.

1터미널이나 2터미널이나

큰 차이를 찾을 수 없다.

No big difference between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

세면대 겸 데스크.

Vanity / desk.

데스크 밑에는

슬리퍼와 의자, 쓰레기통이 있다.

Under the desk

you can find slippers, stool, garbage bin.

플러그 1개, USB 충전기 1개, 유선랜케이블 1개를

이용할 수 있다.

You can use one 220V plug, one USB cable, one LAN cable

at the same time.

2터미널과 동일한

하만카돈 블루투스 스피커.

The same Harman/Kardon Bluetooth speaker 

was built in as in Terminal 2

<총평>

아무래도 워커힐에서 하는 거라서 그런지

침구의 편안함이나 위생에 대한

불만은 전혀 없었다.

Is it because Walkerhill is managing this property?

I did not have any complaint about

comfort of bedding and cleanliness.

다만

역시나 공용화장실을 이용해야한다는

불편함이 있다.

However,

it is still not good 

to share the public restroom

추가적으로

이 좁은 공간에 투숙해야하는

내 처지에 대해서

다시한번 돌이켜보게 되어

의도치않은 현타를 맞이할 수 있다.

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

One more thing,

you may have a mental breakdown

in terms of why you have to stay a night here.

"나는 왜 서울에 살지 않을까?"

"그냥 돈 좀 더 주고 

좋은 시간대의 비행기를 타는 건 어땠을까?"

"이리 고생해서 여행가면 좋긴할까?"

"Why do I not live in Seoul?"

"Should I have just book an expensive flight which departs in better time?"

"Will my travel be still good after going through this crampedness?"

오전 8시 이전 이륙하는

비행편을 예약한 분들께 추천한다.

보통 공항 근처 숙박업체들은

보통 오전 6시부터 드랍오프(drop-off) 서비스를 

제공하기 때문에

시간 계산을 잘 하시길 조언드린다.

If your plan departs before 8:00 am,

I recommend this capsule hotel

because hotels and residences run their shuttle transfer 

usually from 6:00 am.

So you need to think well 

about your time management.

다락휴 2터미널점.

지하1층에 내려가면

위치 안내표시 X-배너가 

쉐이크쉑 버거 근처에 있었던 것 같다.

그거 보고 따라가면

크게 어려울 것 없다.

If you go down to the B1 floor,

you can easily find a X-banner signage of direction 

to the capsule hotel.

Capsule Hotel by Walkahill Incheon Airport

처음에 인천공항공사에서

공항 내 숙박시설을 입점시키기 위해서

워커힐 호텔을 많이 설득했다고 한다.

At first, when opening the terminal 1,

the Incheon Airport Corporation tried hard

to convince Walkerhill to open a hotel within the Terminal.

2터미널 지점까지 낸 걸 보면

수익은 확실히 나는 것 같다.

회전율도 빠르고, 

가격은 웬만한 2-3성급 호텔 값은 다 받으니까.

Now given that the second branch is open at the terminal 2,

it is definitely profitable business.

Fast room turnover, 

collecting the same price 

as other 2-3 star hotels do in the cities.

낮에는 3시간을 기본으로 입실이 가능하고

시간당 추가 과금이 된다.

밤에는 8시부터 체크인을 시작해서

다음날 아침 8시까지 체크아웃을 하면 된다.

During the day,

you can use the room minimum 3 hours,

and there is additional charge per hour.

At night,

the check-in starts at 8 PM,

and the check-out ends at 8 AM (12 hours).

나는 밤에 12시간 이용하는 것으로 예약.

I booked 12-hour stay.

가격은 77,000원.

더블 베드와 샤워가 있는 방이었다.

KRW 77,000 (Inclusive of tax)

The room has a double bed and shower booth.

예약 당시만 해도

샤워가 있으면

 당연히 변기하나는 있을 줄 알았다.

근데 그게 아니었다.

화장실은 무조건 공용.

샤워실 없는 객실은 공용사워실을 이용할 수 있다.

At the moment of booking,

I thought it was natural to be a toilet inside the room there.

But it is not. 

Restroom is communal.

If your room does not have a shower booth,

you can use communal separate shower booths.

어쩌다보니 

제일 구석에 있는 방을 배정 받았다.

In the meanwhile,

my room was at the end corner of the hotel.

정말 좁다.

일본 캡슐 호텔보다는 넓지만

걸어다닐 공간이 거의 없다.

Really cramped.

It is wider than Japanese capsule hotel.

No space for guest to walk around.

더블 침대 하나 들어가고

옆에 바로 데스크 겸 세면대. 

끝.

One double bed,

one desk/vanity set.

That is all.

천장은 이렇게 생겼다.

샤워용 수건은 2개.

Two towels for two guests.

더블베드라 그런지 고무 슬리퍼도 2쌍.

Two pairs of plastic slippers.

드라이기는 고정용.

Fixed hair drier.

엄청 바람 구릴 줄 알았는데

새로 오픈한 곳이라 그런지

머리 말리는데 큰 불편함은 없었다.

It worked better than I expected,

maybe because it is newly open.

No trouble with drying hair.

2인실이라 물을 2병 준 것 같다.

핸드워시.

Handwash.

옷걸이는 저렇게 있지만

겨울에 코트며 니트 걸다보면

자리가 모자라다.

You can hang maximum 5 pieces of clothes.

But it is not enough 

when you have a coat and large knit in winter.

문 열자마자 좌측에 위치한 샤워실.

Right next to the room door.

깔끔하게 정리는 잘 되어있다.

It was clean and well-organized.

컨디셔너가 없다는 치명적인 단점.

It was critical that there was no conditioner.

아침은 알아서 사먹어야하는데

다락휴 직원한테 지하1층 식당가 몇시에 영업시작하냐고 물어보니

답을 못하시더라.

No breakfast is provided here.

So I asked when the shops outside open,

but she did know about that.

직접 확인해본 결과 6시 정도면

다 오픈하는 것 같다.

According to my experience,

almost every shop was open at 6 AM.

출국 전에

한국적인 생활음식 먹고 싶어서

북창동 순두부로 결정.

Before leaving Korea,

I chose to have a ordinary Korean meal,

Soondooboo(Soft Tofu Soup)

이 순두부가 생가보다 실했다.

통새우도 생각보다 큼직하게 들어가있고

순두부도 많고

알찼다.

It was a great value:

large shrimps and lots of soft tofus.

메뉴 선택 만족!

Happy with my menu choice.

<총평 Review>

처음 들어가자 마자 들은 생각은,

절대로 부모님 모시고 오지 말라는 것.

What came to my mind first 

when I entered the room 

was

YOU SHOULD NOT ACCOMMODATE YOUR PARENTS HERE.

돈은 돈내로 내고

잔소리는 잔소리대로 들을 것 같다.

I guess you will be hearing many complaints on the room from your parents,

paying quite a amount of money for a night.

이 돈이면

잘하면 앞서 포스팅했던

호텔 오라나 굿데이 에어텔 같은

숙박시설을 구할 수 있다.

in the same price range,

you may book 

the Hotel Ora or 

other studio apartment like Goodday Airtel.

비행기 체크인 시간에

15-20분 정도의

추가적인 여유만 가질 수 있다면

굳이 이 숙소에 투숙할 필요가 없다고 본다.

If you have extra 15-20 minutes till the airline check-in time,

you do not have to stay here.

하지만

바로 공항 출국장으로 이동하니까

편하기는 엄청 편했다.

However,

it was super convenient 

to move to the departure floor

공항 내에 식당이나 카페도 많고해서

장점은 확실히 있는데,

가성비를 생각하면 약간 고민이 된다.

This capsule hotel definitely has strong points,

for example, accessibility to the airport shops.

But it is still questioning if it is a cost-effective choice.

체크인 데스크가 새벽 6시 30분 전에

오픈하는 비행을 하는 분께는

추천하겠다.

So, I recommend this hotel

to those whose flight check-in begins earlier before 6:30 am.
