짠내투어에서 알게 된
스펙트라 - 레이저 앤 워터 쇼.
I came to know the show from TV show JJannae Tour,
Spectra - Lazer and Water Show.
우선 무료라는 점과
짠내투어 평가자들의 후기가 너무 인상적이었던지라
싱가포르 일정에 꼭 집어 넣었다.
It was free,
and the celebrity tourists left impressive comments.
So I thought I had to watch it.
이 쇼를 보기 위해서
일부러 저녁도
더 숍스 앳 마리아 배이 샌즈(The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands)에 있는
시누아즈리(Chinoiserie)에서
먹었다구!!
In order to watch this show,
I had a dinner
at Chinoiserie, The Shoppes and Marina Bay Sands.
식당 저녁 식사 시간 시작 전
쇼핑몰 앞 광장에 사전 답사를 나가봤다.
I kinda inspected the plaza
since I arrived
earlier than my dinner reservation time.
나무로 된 데크(deck)가
널찍하게 펼쳐져 있었다.

가운데가 머라이언이고
좌측에 마천루들이 모여있고
우측에는 주요 호텔들이 눈에 들어왔다.
Merlion in the center,
skycrapers on the left,
famous hotels on the right.
그로테스크한 듯
미래지향적인 느낌의
저 건물은 루이비통 매장인 듯.
It is Louis Vuitton shop.
Looks a bit grotesque and futuristic.
갈까 말까 고민했었던
호텔들이 좌라락 한 눈에 들어온다
the hotels that I took into my accounts
저녁을 먹고 나오니까
하늘이 어둑해지고
사람들이 이미 자리를
하나씩 다 꿰차고 있었다.
After I finished my dinner at Chinoiserie,
the sky was darkened,
and the plaza was full of people.
혼자 여행의 장점은
이런 만석 상황에서도
한자리 정도는 구할 수 있다는 점!!
Travelling alone is good
because it is easy to find a seat for one.
오후에 봤던 광경이
멋진 야경으로 변신.
the view changed at night
dramatically.
밤에는
루이뷔통 매장도
번쩍 번쩍.
Louis Vuitton with flash.
싱가포르 마천루들이
홍콩 못지 않은 분위기를 내지만,
홍콩보다는 상당히 좁은 구역에 모여있다.
Singaporean skyscrapers
reminded me of Hong kong.
However, Singaporean version looks smaller.
쇼가 시작되기 전에
머라이언은 검은 실루엣만
드러내고 있다.

공연시간이 다가와오자
유람선들이 하나 둘 씩 나타나기 시작했다.
When the show was about to begin,
cruise ships gathered around the show
그리고 쇼가 시작됐다.
The show began.
내가 팔 빠지는 아픔을 참으며
찍어낸 레이져쇼 동영상.
I recorded the entire show with my phone
enduring the muscle pain from arms
<총평>
짠내투어 평가자들은
평생 레이져쇼를 못 봤었거나
대단히 방송을 잘 하시는 분인 걸로...
The celebrities in the show...
They may have not seen any lazer shows in their entire lives,
or
they are very good actors.
심심한 쇼는 아니지만
엄청 대단하지도 않다.
역시 공짜 쇼는
한계가 있다는 생각이 들었다.
Though it is not boring,
it is not massive.
I kinda realized the limit of free-of-charge show.
대신 공짜라서
손해본 느낌은 없었다.
Instead,
it did not seem that I got ripped off by fancy words
궁금하신 분은 꼭 가보시고
레이저나 분수 쇼에 평소에
큰 감흥을 못 느꼈던 분들은
일정에서 빼도 후회가 없지 않을까 싶다.

If you do not have any interesting experiences with lazer or water shows,
you can skip this show without regret.
