가든스 랩소디, 가든스 바이 베이

at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

마리나 베이 샌즈에서 하는
스펙트라 - 레이저 앤 워터 쇼가 끝나자마자
가든스 바이 베이로
발길을 서둘렀다.
As soon as the Spectra - Lazer and Water Show ended,
I hurried to the Gardens by the Bay
짠내투어에서 보니까
좋은 자리를 선점해서 누워야
제대로 볼 수 있다고 해서.
Because I wanted to have a nice spot to lie down.
It was told from the TV Show
that there is a competition to secure a nice view.
그래서
저녁 식사 전에
이미 어떻게 가는지 동선을 파악해두었다.
In that regard,
I checked the path to the Gardens by the Bay
before my dinner.
레이저쇼를 보고
바로 숍스 엣 마리나 베이 샌즈로 들어가서
층 이동을 하지 않고
직진을 하다보면
우측에 통로가 하나 있고
위에 가든스 바이 더 베이에 가는 길이라고
표시가 되어있다.
Entering back the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands,
go straight, and you can see a signal on the right.
그 통로로 들어오면
이렇게 가든스 바이 더 베이로
걸어 갈 수 있는 에스컬레이터가 나온다.
In that direction,
you can easily find the escalator to the Bay.
저 에스컬레이터에서 내린 다음에
좀 걷고, 다리도 건너고
계단도 좀 오르내리고 해야하는데
시간 여유가 많이 없어서
중간중간 사진을 못 찍었다.
After the escalator,
I walked a bit, crossed a bridge,
went up and down the stairs.
I did not take photos
since I was in a hurry.
이미 최고 명당은 자리가 찬 것 같았고
그나마 괜찮아 보이는 벤치에 자리를 잡고
누워서 사진을 찍으며 대기 중.
It seemed that the best places had been taken already.
So I chose 2nd next best bench.
And I kept taking photos lying down.
쇼가 시작되기 전의
슈퍼트리들은 이렇게 생겼다.

이 쇼도 팔이 빠져라
직접 폰으로 녹화했다.
ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I also recorded with my phone
enduring the pain on my arms.
쇼가 끝난 후
누워있던 벤치에서
사진을 찍어봤다.
The show was over,
but I stayed a bit more to take more pictures.
되려 쇼가 끝난 이후의
슈퍼트리들이 더 멋있는 것 같았다.
To me,
the super trees looked more beautiful after the show.
슈퍼 트리 밑에
레스토랑인지 바인지가 있다고 들었는데
지나가다가 발견.
I found a restaurant or bar under one of the super trees
which I had heard of.
밤에 조명이 밝다보니까
사진 화질이 고르지 못하다.
The quality of photos is not good sometimes
because there was a lot of light in the dark.
택시를 타기 위해서
택시 표시가 된 방향으로 걷다보니
이렇게 마리나 베이 샌즈 호텔과
가든스 바이 더 베이를
한 눈에 볼 수 있었다.
Heading to the taxi stop,
I could see the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Gardens by the Bay together.
겨우 도착한 택시 정류장.
사람들이 줄을 길게 서 있었다.
I finally made it to the taxi stop after almost 10- to 15-minute walk.
And I found a lot of people in line.
그렇지만
택시들도 줄을 길게 서고 대기하고 있었기 때문에
줄은 금방금방 줄어들었다.
However,
Since a lot of taxis were also waiting for passengers,
it did not take long for me to take a taxi.
가든스 바이 더 베이 택시정류장에서
페어몬트 호텔 앞까지
거리는 5km이고
각종 할증이 붙어서 SGD 12.8가 나왔다.
It was 5 km away from the Fairmont Singapore,
this ride costed me SGD 12.8 due to the extra charges
비싸다고 생각할 수 있겠지만
이날 내 종아리 상태가 그닥 좋지 않았고
많이 피곤했기 때문에
택시비는 전혀 아깝지 않았다.
Some may think it was too much.
But my calves were cramped up
since I have my chronic conditions and I was tired.
To me, the taxi fare was fair.
<총평>
이 쇼도 엄청 대단한 것은 아니지만
공짜이니까 볼만한 것 같다.
This show was not massive, either.
But it is a good show
considering it is free of charge
돈 내고 보라면
나는 안 갈거다.
If I had had to pay,
I would not have watched it.
마리나 배이 샌즈 앞 레이저 워터쇼보다는
이게 조금 더 재미있었다는 생각은 들었다.
Compared to the previous lazer and water show,
I think this show was better.
