날씨가 좋으면 수영장 앞에

야외에서도 식사가 가능하지만,

나는 에어컨 바람이

적당히 온도조절해주는 것을 좋아해서

무조건 실내.

on sunny days,

you can have a meal outside near the pool.

But I prefer indoor dining

because I need air-conditioning.

점심 메뉴.

식사용 빵류.

Stick bread.

나는 패션푸르츠를 좋아하니까

주스도 패션푸르츠!

I ordered a passion fruit juice

because I love passion fruit.

컵에 꽂아놓은

패션푸르츠 생과 장식이

인상적이었다.

숫가락으로 다 긁어 먹는 재미는 덤.

Passion fruit garnish was eye-catching.

It was a plus to having the flesh with spoon.

완탕 수프(Wonton Soup)

국물이 깔끔하고

완탕이 실해서 맛있게 잘 먹었다.

The broth was simple but tasty,

and Wonton was sizable.

I enjoyed it.

양이 많은 편은 아니지만

요즘은 양 많은 음식을 예전처럼 좋아하지는 않아서

식전 수프로 먹기에는 양이 딱 좋았다.

It was not a big amount for one porcion

since it is appetizer.

Minute Steak and Egg.

전반적으로 이 식당이

음식을 잘하는 편이라고 생각이 들었다.

스테이크도 막 눈이 확 떠지는 맛은 아니지만,

맛있게 잘 구워주셨다.

When I had this steak,

I thought this restaurant knew how to cook.

It was a good steak,

even though it is not a Michelin Star-like.

Vanilla ice cream and Mandarin anise sorbet.

내가 좋아하는 바닐라와 시트러스 계열 후식이라

실패할리가 없었다.

Since I love vanilla and citrus,

this combo would never fail.

I got a perk of F&B discounts in this resort.

식사용 빵.

Bread.

기분 내보려고 로제 스파클링 와인을 시켜봤다.

I ordered a glass of rose sparkling wine for celebrating anything.

가격이 저렴했지만

이태리산이면 믿을 수 있을 줄 알았는데...

I believed that the wine would be at least not bad

because it was made in Italy.

도미니카에서 마셨던

아르헨티나 스파클링보다는 낫지만

애매한 단맛이 나서 별로였다.

It was not 'not bad' but just 'bad'.

Of course, 

it was much better than the Argentine one 

that I drank in Dominican Republic

소프트쉘 크랩 튀김.

Fried softshell crab

애피타이저로 주문했다.

기본적으로 어느 나라나

게나 가재 요리는 귀한 음식이지만,

소프트쉘 크랩은 한국에서 돈 주고 구하려고해도

일반 마트에서는 잘 팔지 않으니까

이번 기회에 먹어봤다.

It was my appetizer.

it seems universal that crabs o lobsters are expensive.

Especially, softshell crab is hard to find in Korea

though I am willing to pay enough.

So I tried.

역시 게는 맛있음.

근데 생각보다 양이 많아서

마지막에는 조금 느끼했다.

It was good as expected.

However, because the portion was a bit big amount,

it felt greasy in the end.

Pork Rib.

메인은 역시 고기여야하는데

쇠고기 스테이크는 어제 먹었으니까

오늘은 돼지고기.

To me, the main should be a meat kind.

Since I had beef before,

pork for this time!

Drink.

I can't remember its name.

It just guess it was made of passion fruit.

밥이 딸려 나왔던 것 같다.

steam rice.

Passion fruit and tofu cheese cake.

먹은지가 오래되서

기억이 가물가물한데

맛없던 기억이 없는 걸로 보아

잘 먹은 것 같다.

Since it is long time ago,

it is not easy to remember how tasty each dish was.

But I do not have bad memory on it,

which may be understood as good.

역시나 할인이 들어갔다.

팬케이크는 식사류이지만

나머지는 다 디저트들.

과일 종류가 엄청 다양해서 좋았다.

I loved that there were a variety of local fruits.

훈재 생선들.

smoked fishes.

훈제 연어를 기대하고 있었는데

생각하지 못한 훈제생선들이 나왔다.

맛은 간이 세서

자주는 못 먹었다.

I expected smoked salmon,

but there were other kinds of smoked fishes.

They were a bit salty.

치즈는 종류별로 다양해서 좋았다.

각종 절임 및 소스류 등

스프링롤과 김밥류.

spring roll and sushi(?)

스시라고 이름표를 달아놓았만

이건 끽해야 캘리포니아 롤이지

스시는 아닌듯.

It was tagged as sushi,

but I do not buy that.

It may be a kind of California roll.

Sushi? Never!

샐러드 스테이션.

Salad station.

한국인이 많다보니

김치도 있다.

Kimchi for Korean guests.

쌀국수 스테이션.

Pho station.

핫푸드인데 이름을 모르겠다.

It looked like hot food,

but I can't remember.

각종 잼 및 시럽류.

베이커리류.

bakeries.

중식 번(bun)과 딤섬.

Chinese bun and dim sum.

팬케이크와 와플은 직접 조리해서

테이블로 전달해주신다.

Pancake and waffles are made every time ordered.

제대로 된 뷔페라면

이렇게 착석하고 나서 바로

차 또는 커피 주문을 물어본다.

가볍게 먹을 수 있는 걸로 골라봤다.

2차는 육류 및 본식(볶음국수)류.

파인애플+패션푸르츠 잼이 있길래

발라서 먹어봤다.

There was a jam made of pineapple and passion fruit.

아무래도 파인애플이

맛과 향이 강해서

패션푸르츠 느낌은 좀 묻힌다.

Due to preponderance of pineapple in it,

it was not easy to find passion fruit flavors.

마지막으로 과일.

Lastly, fruits.

딥핑 소스는 그냥 그렇다.

dipping sauce was not bad.

오늘도 패션푸르츠 주스.

쇠고기 쌀국수.

Pho Bo

이렇게 쇠고기가 풍성하게 들어간

쌀국수는 처음이었다.

It was the first pho bo

which contains this plenty of beef.

쇠고기는 엄청 맛있었는데

국물이 다소 맹맹하다.

조미료를 전혀 안 넣는 모양.

The beef was very good,

whereas the broth was bland a little.

I guessed that no artificial flavors were added

쌀국수의 양도

무지막지하게 많았다.

The portion was too much for me.

쌀국수에 넣어먹는 생야채들.

Veggies for pho bo.

쌀국수에 넣어먹을 수 있는 소스.

Sauces for pho bo.

원래는 그냥 주는대로 먹는데

쌀국수는 좀 밍밍해서

소스를 첨가하지 않을 수 없었다.

I do not add any sauce to pho usually.

But this time was different,

because it was too bland for me.

역시나 Orbitz 할인.

Prawn & crab ball soup.

기대를 많이 했는데

생각보다 맛있지는 않았지만

괜찮았다.

I had a high expectation on this soup,

which turned out to be not as amazing as expected.

It was okay.

Pork clay pot.

베트남 전통 냄비 요리를

영어로 clay pot이라고 하는 것 같고,

나는 돼지고기로 주문했다.

It seemed

that Vietnamese food made in a pot is 

translated as 'clay pot' in English.

I ordered a pork pot.

맛은 우리나라 갈비찜 맛!

맛있었다.

It tasted almost the same as Galbijjim in Korea.

Very good!

Orbitz 식음료 할인이 들어갔다.

Discounted again.

뷔페 차림은 크게 차이가 없어서

내가 덜어온 음식만 찍었다.

There was no big difference made to the buffet menu.

So I only took pictures of my dishes.

이제 슬슬 조식이 물리기 시작한다.

이때부터 호텔호핑(hotel-hopping)이 중요함을

느끼기 시작했다.

Now I began to feel a bit bored with this buffet.

So I realized again hopping hotels is important for me.

특이한 이름의 믹스 주스를 마셨다.

I drank a new mixed juice,

which I cannot recall its name.

Fusion Fried Rice - Seafood

볶음밥을 퓨전 리조트 스타일로 개발한 모양.

볶음밥만 나오지 않고,

해산물, 닭고기, 쇠고기, 채식용 등으로

볶음밥 재료에 변주를 줄 수 있다.

It seemed that

Fusion resort made their own interpretation of fried rice.

It could be made with either seafood, chicken or veggies

according to preference.

요번에도 할인이 들어갔다.

Discount again.

<총평 Comments>

웰빙을 추구하는 식당이지만

맛을 놓치지 않았다.

쌀국수 빼고는

대부분 맛이 좋았다.

In my opinion, this restaurant did not choose well-being over tastes.

Except the pho bo,

every food I had was good.

베트남 물가치고는

높은 가격대의 음식.

양은 음식 종류에 따라

많기도 했다가

적기도 했다가

좀 애매했다.

However, it could be expensive

compared to the average salary of the Vietnamese.

The amount of food for one portion was not consistent

depending on menus.

직원들의 서비스는 우수하고

친절한 편이다.

Servers were hospitable and attentive.

비가 계속 와서

이 식당을 자주 이용하다보니

약간 메뉴가 식상하게 느껴지기는 했다.

Due to continued heavy rain,

I visit this restaurant too frequently,

which made me feel bored.

다른 식당들과 적절히 섞어서

이용한다면 좋을 것 같다.

It will be better to visit other restaurants 

sometimes.

<스파 spa>

스파 접수 및 대기실.

내가 이 리조트에서 가장 사랑한 건물.

It is the building that I adored in this resort the most,

where you can order 

your spa service and wait for your treatment.

천고가 높고

채광이 너무 잘 되서

날씨 좋은 날에는 정말 환상적이다.

High ceiling,

so much natural light.

It is fantastic when sunny.

굳이 스파를 받지 않더라도

와서 휴식할 수 있는 공간들이 있다.

There is a space

where you can sit and relax

even though you do not have scheduled any treatments.

스파 이용객에게 제공되는 라임 담근 물.

Water with lime slice,

which is provided for spa service users.

퓨전 리조트는

객실당 1일 2시간의 무료 스파서비스를 제공한다.

Fusion Resort provide

complimentary maximum 2 hour spa treatment 

per night per room.

홈페이지에 가면

스파 메뉴를 확인할 수 있다.

You can see the treatments

on the resort web page.

2시간을 한번에 사용할 수 있는데,

이 스파에서는 2시간 내내 스파를 받는 것이

건강에 반드시 좋지 않다는 이유로

1시간을 1회로 봤을 때,

2회를 연속 사용할 경우에는 80분으로

서비스 이용시간을 제한한다.

One guest can spend 2 treatments in a row for oneself,

then the total treatment time is limited to 80 minutes

because they consider that 2 hour treatment may not good for health.

나는 혼자 왔으니까

80분 연속 마사지 트리트먼트를 받았다.

I stayed alone,

so I took the 80 minute treatment every visit.

스파(나는 마사지)를 시작하기 전에

특이사항은 없는지,

어떤 부위에서 불편함을 느끼는 지 등을 점검한다.

Before treatments,

you have to fill up the checklist

to notify whether you have conditions

or which part of your body you want your masseur to focus on.

대기실은 대기실이고,

여기는 스파를 위한 개별 공간으로 이동하는 길.

직원 분이 여기가 조경이 잘 되어 예쁘다며

사진 한 번 찍고 가자고 해서

찍어봤다.

This is the way to the treatment room.

My masseur recommended to take a photo of this place

because it is well landscaped.

<총평 my comments on spa>

마수어의 스파 실력은

어느정도 평준화된 것 같다.

I think

the skills of each masseur are standardized to some extent

하지만 여전히 개인차가 있고

엄청 잘하는 사람은 못 봤고,

조금 잘하는 것 같은 사람에게만 한 번 받아봤다.

However, you can feel who is better.

I did not found anybody excellent,

but I got a massage from a decent masseur. 

스파는 당일 예약보다는

최소 1일전에는 예약해줄 것을 당부하고 있다.

그래서 나는 인천에서 출국하기 전에

미리 2일분의 스파를 이메일로 신청해놓았다.

It is recommended to book at least one day before.

So I booked treatments  for two days by email in advance.

마수어의 성별을 선택할 수 있으나,

나는 상관없다고 신청했고,

계속 남자 마수어가 마사지를 해줬다.

You can choose gender of masseur.

I said I do not care,

so male masseurs took care of me during my entire stay.

남자 마수어가 압력이 세게 잘 할 것 같지만

매번 느끼지만 여성 마수어가 마사지를 더 잘 한다.

힘만 세다고 마사지를 잘 하는 건 아니니까.

You man think that male masseurs are good at giving stronger massage.

However, according to my experiences, female masseurs are much better,

maybe because they know it is more about skills and know-how, than physical strength.

<수영장 pool>

풀의 크기도 상당히 넓은 편.

물론 수영하면서 트랙 완주할 정도는 아니다.

A good size of pool.

But not enough to complete a professional track.

이날 날씨가 좋지 않아서

해변가에는 진입금지 레드플랙(red flag)을 걸어놓은 날이라

수영장을 이용하는 사람이 없었다.

This day the weather was not good enough to swim in the sea and pool.

So there were no people swimming.

사진이라서 대충 보면

눈치채기 힘들겠지만

바람이 엄청나게 불고 있다.

If you watch the pictures well,

you can see it heavily blowing

선베드와 파라솔은 

해변을 정면으로 봤을 때

좌측 공간에 몰려있다.

Sun beds and parasols were installed

on the left of the pool.

풀 바(pool bar)

A pool bar on the right of the pool.

투숙객이 수영장을 이용하지 못하니

풀 바도 개점휴업상태.

Since no swimmer in the pool,

the pool bar is open without business.

사진을 찍기 위해서

프라이빗 비치로 나가본다.

I headed to the private beach for pictures.

해변가에 가는 길에는

보도블럭이 설치되어 있다.

There is a path made of blocks to the beach.

수상안전요원이 없으니

파란색(안전), 노란색(주의), 빨간색(위험)을

잘 구분하고 이용하라는 안내문.

There is no safe guard on duty.

So guest must check the color of safety levels.

바람이 너무 세다보니

파라솔을 다 뉘여놓았다.

Parasols were all laid down

due to too strong wind.

이렇게 센 바람에

라탄 의자나 비치베드가 날라가지 않은게

신기할 정도.

I was curious how the beach beds stood still there

사진으로만 봐서는 파도가 센 것인가 싶겠지만

해변이 쓸려갈것같은 파도소리가 난다.

You may not notice how wild the wave was from the picture.

But it sounded like the entire beach would be swept away.

잠시 맑았던 날에 찍은 사진.

식당/수영장/해변가로 가는 길에는

지난 번 포스팅에 올렸던 수로를 따라 가야한다.

For some sunny hours,

I took this photo, a way to the restaurant/pool/beach.

You have to follow the canal,

which I posted about last time.

수로를 따라가면

메인 식당인 프레쉬(Fresh)로 들어갈 수 있다.

Along the the canal,

you can find stairs to the main dining place, Fresh.

계단으로 내려가지 않으면

식당 위의 지붕에

발만 담글 수 있는 얕은 풀이 있다.

If you do not enter the restaurant,

you can see the shallow pool

where you can soak your feet only.

날씨가 반짝 개었던 날의 해변가.

Private beach when sunny for some hours.

그치만 여전히 안전하지 않다는 깃발 표시.

But it was still unsafe to swim in the sea.

작은 비치 베드 안에서

해변을 찍어봤다.

<총평 comments>

프라이빗 비치의 모래는 고운 편이다.

이곳 천연 모래인지 아닌지는 잘 모르겠다.

워낙 리조트들 프라이빗 비치가 인공인 경우가 많아서.

There is fine and beautiful sand on the beach.

But I am not sure if it is local or installed from elsewhere

since there are so many artificial white sand beach.

주의가 필요한 정도의 바다상태였다면

발이라도 담가봤을 텐데

너무 아쉬웠다.

ㅠㅠ

It was such a shame

that I could not immerse, even one foot into the sea.

- 얼 칙 스위트 All Chic Suite -

거의 망했다고 보면되는

나트랑 혼자 여행.

I found this trip a bit unsuccessful.

망한 이유 중 가장 중요한 것은

바로 날씨.

One of the reasons why it was not successful was

the weather during my stay.

나는 12월에 동남아가

대부분 건기가 시작되는 시점이라고 생각하고

별 생각없이 나트랑 티켓을 예약했다.

I believed

that the entire South East Asia would be in a dry season in December,

and I just booked a cheap flight.

근데 웬걸...

나트랑은 1-2월쯤은 되야

건기가 시작되는 모양.

However,

Nha Trang was not.

Dry season seems to begin from January or February there.

공항에서 내려서

리조트 셔틀타고 체크인할 때까지만해도

날씨가 괜찮았었다.

The weather was good

until I checked in at the resort lobby, 

and entered the room

그런데

객실에 들어가자마자

비가 하늘이 뚫린 것처럼

우두두두두두두 쏟아지고

바람이 바람이 어쩜 그렇게 세게 부는 건지...

However,

as soon as I entered the room,

it poured like there was a big hole in the sky,

and it blew like a storm is passing the area.

프라이빗 비치에서

파도소리 들으면서

책이나 좀 읽다가 가려던게 전부였는데,

절대 불가!!

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

All I wanted from these vacations was

just chilling with calming sound of wave and ocean breeze,

which was impossible to enjoy under that weather conditions.

다행히 리조트가 상당히 잘 꾸며져있었고

시설측면에서는 우수한 편이었기 때문에

그걸 생각하면

섣불리 망했다고 하기는 좀 애매하다.

The resort itself was well designed in many ways, which I loved it.

So it is too harsh to say that my vacations were totally ruined.

그래서 '망한듯한' 나트랑/나짱 여행.

ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

That is why the title has the word 

"seemingly unsuccessful"

퓨전 리조트 깜란은

Orbitz VIP 호텔.

Fusion Resort Cam Ranh

is a Orbitz VIP resort.

그래서 예약한 것도 있고,

이 호텔은 1객실당 1일 최대 2시간

무료 마사지가 포함되어 있고,

조식도 포함되어 있어서

가성비가 뛰어나다고 생각했다.

That is one of the reasons why I booked it.

Plus, I concluded that the resort had a lot to offer for the price.

maximum 2-hour complimentary spa treatment per room per day,

breakfast buffet was included.

Very cost-effective!

물론

나트랑 시내랑 멀다는 단점이 있기는 하다.

리조트 셔틀타고 나트랑 센터(쇼핑몰 이름)까지

약 편도 40분 정도.

대신 공항에서는 15분 정도 걸린다.

Of course, there is a downside: location.

It is 40 minutes away from Nha Trang Center, a shopping mall

while it is 15 minutes away from the airport.

공항 픽업 셔틀버스는

무료가 아니다.

VND 75,000.

미리 호텔에 신청해야 한다.

The airport pick-up and drop-off is not free.

You have to request it in advance and pay VND 75,000.

예전에 Orbitz 할인코드는

기본 15% 할인이었는데

이제는 10%로 떨어졌다. ㅠㅠ

Orbitz discount rate by its promo code used to be 15%,

but it dropped to 10%.

이제는 Orbitz의 노예생활에서

조금씩 벗어나려고 노력 중.

Now I am trying to get away from Orbitz

little by little.

호텔 로비에서 프라이빗 비치까지의 전경.

이 리조트는 규모가 어마어마한데,

기본적으로 로비에서 바닷가/수영장까지

연결되는 공간은 이렇게 길게 뚤어놓으면서

공간이 효율성 따위는 전혀 고려하지 않는

럭셔리를 뽐내고 있다.

The size of resort is massive.

There is very long path from the lobby to the sea and pool.

It does not really seem to care about efficient use of space,

which may be the luxury this resort is trying to offer.

저 수로가 약 80-100m 가량

이어지는 것 같다.

The canal appeared to be 80-100 meter long.

밤에 찍어본 수로.

조명이 설치되어 있어서

나름 운치 있다.

There was lights installed,

which you can feel some vibe.

밤에 찍은 로비.

체크인 데스크 있는 곳은

직원들도 있고

투숙객들이 계속 머무르고 있어서

사진을 찍지 못했다.

I did not take a picture of the lobby room with the register desk

because I avoid people in my picture.

대신 밤에 사람이 없길래

체크인 데스크 건너편에 있는

로비 라운지(?)를 찍었다.

So I took a picture of the other lobby area at night.

리조트가 넓기 때문에

이렇게 보도블럭으로 길이 나있기도 하고

아니면 내가 투숙했던 객실처럼,

학교 운동장 흙바닥 같은 길이 있다.

이 흙바닥 같은 길은

버기카가 다니는 길.

Since the resort is so big,

some paths have paving blocks and others do not:

the others for buggy cars

객실에서 로비에 연락하면

버기카를 태워주는데,

내 객실은 로비에서 너무 가까워서

굳이 버기카를 탈 필요가 없었다.

You can take the buggy

if you call it to the lobby.

But I did not use it

because my villa was so close to the lobby.

이개 내가 투숙했던 빌라.

This is the villa where I stayed.

이 빌라를 독채로 내가 투숙했으면 좋겠지만

1층에 객실이 2개가 좌우로 배치되어 있다.

2층에는 객실이 2개인지 1개인지 확인하지 못했다.

I wish I could have booked the entire two-story villa.

On the ground floor, there are two separate rooms.

I am sure whether it has one or two separate rooms on the second floor.

Orbitz VIP 리조트여서

객실 업그레이드를 기대했지만

실패했다.

Since it was a Orbitz VIP resort,

I expected an upgrade,

but they did not

나름 객실이 꽉찬 모양이다.

그도 그럴 것이

한국인들이 엄청 많았다.

There might not be availability.

I guess so

because there were so many Korean guests.

깜란 공항에서 출국 수속할 때는

중국인 비율이 월등하지만,

이 리조트에서만큼은 한국인 비중이 더 높았다.

In Cam Ranh airport,

you can see Chinese tourists about four times as many as Koreans,

whereas the ratio of Koreans to Chinese here was quite the opposite.

이 코끼리의 좌우에

객실로 들어가는 문이 하나씩 있다.

There is a elephant between two room doors.

내 객실은 223호.

My room number was 223.

카드키를 주는데,

나무로 된 미닫이 문이라서

잠긴건지 안 잠긴건지

잘 확인이 안된다.

I had a card key,

but I could not check if it was well-locked

since the door was sliding manually

요 코끼리 옆의 문도

나무로 걸어 잠기는 수동식이라서

약간 불안한 감이 없지않아 있지만

그냥 막 다녔다.

비가 계속 와서

객실을 나갈 일이 많지도 않았고...

The room door lock next to the elephant was also manual.

I was a bit worried about security,

but I became... just like, let it happen.

Plus, I had no much time to be outside of the room

thanks to the heavy rain and strong wind.

객실마다 작은 야외 정원이 있다.

Each suite has a small garden.

계단으로 올라가는 조경도 잘 해놨다.

It was well-landscaped near the steps.

이 리조튼

웰빙, 자연주의 이런 컨셉인 것 같고,

그래서 조경과 자연채광에 많은 신경을 쓴게

I think

this resort has a theme of nature and well-being,

and it cared much about the landscape and natural lights coming in.

하지만 역으로

이렇게 흐리고 비오는 날에는

객실 전체가 너무 어둑해지는 단점이 있는데,

그걸 몸소 체험했다.

Vice versa,

it was a weak point as well.

when raining,

the entire room gets darkened,

which I experienced myself.

객실은 엄청 넓다.

제일 낮은 등급의 객실이지만

100 제곱미터나 넘는 크기.

침실도 크고

욕실/화장실도 엄청 크다.

It has a huge space.

It is the lowest grade of the rooms,

but it exceeds 100 squared meters.

Bedroom was huge,

bathroom was large as well.

각도 조절이 가능하다.

Day beds(?) next to the main bed.

You can control the angle.

큰 거울로만 보이겠지만

저것이 옷장.

you can see the minibars and utensils for teas and coffee.

TV는 바닥에 내장되어있다가

필요할 때 열어서 볼 수 있다.

머피 베드(murphy bed)와 

비슷한 개념이라고 보면 될 것 같다.

TV is built-in.

you can lift it up when you need it.

It is like murphy beds.

군데 군데 배치되어 있다.

Lamps with candles are place in several points.

켜보고 싶었는데

어떻게 여는지

어떻게 켜는지

모르겠어서 포기.

I tried to light it up,

but I did not know how and gave up.

전기포트, 생수, 다기류, 등.

I opened it wondering what it is.

It was coffee.

It was ready to be brewed in the Vietnamese style.

환영 과일.

Welcome fruits.

이렇게 풍성하게 환영과일을 주는 곳은

처음이었다.

It was my first time to receive a full basket of fruits

as welcome gift.

포도, 용안(롱간), 람부탄, 귤과 비슷한 뭔가, 베트남 자두(?) 등

지역에서 나는 과일이 한 가득.

a full basket of local fruits: grape, longan, lambutan, mandarin-like things, Vietnamese plum(?).

나중에 조식 뷔페에 다 있는 과일인 거 알고

약간 맥 빠짐.

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I was a bit disappointed

when I saw all the fruits in the breakfast buffet.

욕실.

bathroom.

욕실이 객실 못지 않게 넓어서

사진 한 컷에 담기 힘들었다.

It was every bit as big as the bed room,

which made me put everything into one shot.

이 욕실의 포인트는

공중부양 욕조.

The statement here is the bathtub,

which seemed like levitated.

실제 공중부양은 아니다.

배수도

바로 밑에 하수구로 물이 빠지게 되어있어서

공중부양처럼 착각을 일으키는 것일 뿐.

But it is not levitation.

It is drained without pipe to the sewage,

which help disguise it like levitation.

이 욕조가 보기에는 근사하지만

실용성 제로.

It may look cool,

but not practical at all.

우선 몸이 푹 안 담긴다.

욕조에 앉을 수도 없고

애매하게 누워있을 수 밖에 없다.

그리고 분명히 배수구를 잠궈놨는데도

졸졸 물 새는 소리가 나서 보니까

배수구 밀폐가 잘 안되는 것 같았다.

First of all, you cannot immerse yourself in the water.

You cannot sit well,

you can just lie down in a weird way.

Plus, there was a leakage.

The drainage hall was not well-sealed.

동영상도 쩍어놨는데

리조트에 보여줄까하다가 말았다.

I recorded a video of the leakage,

I thought of showing it to the management, but I just did not.

수건 걸이와 슬리퍼.

Towels and slippers.

중앙 세면대.

좌측에는 샤워실, 우측에는 화장실.

세면대 상단은 이렇게 되어 있다.

Counter top.

1회용 어메니티가

엄청 풍성하다.

a plenty of disposable amenities.

반짓고리도 준다.

이런 거 왜주나 싶었을뻔 했는데

도미니카에서 바지 단추가 터져서

상당히 유용한 어메니티라는 것을 깨달았다.

They offer a sewing kit.

I used not to know its necessity,

but I realized it 

after I got my button on my pants fallen off

in my business trip to Dominican Republic.

비누.

soap.

화장실.

toilet.

샤워실.

showerbooth.

두리안 같은 구린내 나는 과일은 반입 금지.

You cannot have smelly stuff such as durians.

객실 밖 데크.

Outdoor deck.

날씨 좋으면 애용했을 것 같다.

I could have enjoyed it without heavy rain.

왼쪽 커튼 쳐진 곳은

내가 투숙하는 객실의 욕실.

the 2nd floor is for another guest,

the room with curtains down is my bathroom on the ground floor.

우선 객실까지만 먼저 포스팅하고,

수영장, 스파, 프라이빗 비치는

다음 포스팅에서 올리는 것으로..

I posted the room first,

<총평>

객실은 좋다.

넓기도 넓고

스위트 구조이고

친자연적인 웰빙 추구 느낌이 물씬 난다.

The room is great.

Spacious,

suite layout,

eco-friendly and well-being-like vibe.

매트리스는

트윈을 붙여놓은 게

약간 충격적인 사실이긴 했지만,

잠자는데 불편한 건 없었다.

It was a little shocking

when I saw a king bed made of two single beds.

But I had no problem with it when sleeping.

다만

나는 빌라 체질은 아닌게,

오션뷰 객실로 업그레이드를 못 받았더니

벽 뷰는 좀 답답했다. 

But, now I really realize

that I do not like villa

because the view is blocked by the wall.

앞으로는

업그레이드에 의존하지 않고

제 값 내고 오션뷰, 오션프론트 

이런 것만 예약해야겠다고

다짐했다.

I made a resolution

that I will pay more for ocean view or ocean front

without wishing a upgrade upon availability.
